NATURAL HIGH SCHOOLS PROGRAMME
FEEDBACK - LIVERPOOL 2005

VISITORS QUOTATIONS

Excellent audience participation, just enough information given in an easy to understand informative manner. Reserved at first, the results spoke for themselves, I feel it is a very important message to send out to our children – it’s not cool to take drugs. Paula Tipping – SHARP

A very well organised show, well managed. The presentation was very informal, which is the ideal way to get the message across to young people. Short, sharp, shock tactics worked excellently and ever source of help and advice was touched fully and successfully. The students enjoyed the fact that it was on there level, the use of song and dance was amazing. My organisation would be grateful for all information needed to put this show on for our youth clubs and others in my area. Ellen Coughlin – Kirkdale Community Centre

There was an initial shock that they were allowed to stand up, dance, sing and clap and take part actively. Very memorable performance, really brings home the message, I would like to advertise this show through a quarterly newsletter to all youth providers. C Bennett – Merseyside Play Action Council

Wasn’t too long, kids kept good interest. A lot better than we expected, good messages, came across well and plenty of helplines. Good impression from students, all joining in and taking part. Would recommend to any school, the show sends out good messages with students having fun at the same time.
Craig & Carl – Liverpool Football Club

The way the children were engaged was very good indeed, the students as well as enjoying the presentation seemed to take in the messages during the more serious times in the presentation. An excellent presentation would recommend to other schools. Steve Rees – The Manor Partnership – Formby High School

Excellent in all respects, good for targeting children and supports work programmes from health and education, an entertaining and thought provoking programme. Knowsley Primary Care Trust

Timing of the presentation was very good, any longer and interest would have been lost, the presentation was more than I expected and explanations given to younger students. The leaflets and cards were very important and student friendly, a very enjoyable and interesting programme and I was pleased to be able to share this experience with the students. Central Liverpool Primary Care Trust

The presentation was wonderfully engaging, charismatic, fun and powerful, it was well beyond my expectations, perfect for the target audience (5, 6, 7, & 8) beyond this target age group would not be nearly as powerful or provocative. David’s vehicle of music, facts and audience participation provide an excellent platform to the delivery of the message, he engaged the children wonderfully and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would recommend this presentation without hesitation, thank you and well done. The BEST Team

Very suitable for the target audience, 250 year 6 students – maintained good control because of the skilled presenter, I would be surprised if the children don’t go home with the words of the song which are excellent, good citizenship and participation, I would fully recommend this presentation. The BEST Team

Good use/information regarding support agencies, very interactive presentation to keep the children interested, good explanation of small card/MegaBowl to encourage children to keep a hold of the card. The majority of children participated really well and all students really seemed to enjoy it especially the singing and the writing of their own slogan. St Chad’s Clinic Student Nurse

The presentation exceeded my expectations, superb, the programme is brilliant and should be more widely recognised.
Local author/historian and Formby Citizen of the Year

A well presented professional presentation which kept the children’s interest and attention throughout the duration, I believe the majority of the children will remember the message as the were entertained sufficiently. Above my expectations and more, well received by the pupils, great responses. Magull and Aughton Rotary

The kids all joined in, in a positive manner, it was very good and enjoyable, even if one student is kept off drugs it is good, I would recommend this show. Magull and Aughton Rotary

Very motivating presentation with witty entertaining, relevant to today, very trendy, David relates to the children, kept the audience interested and participating and involved everyone. I’ll be singing Natural High for weeks, all student were very positive and seemed to be very involved and enjoyed it, good all round entertainment which effectively put the message across in a way in which I think the children will remember for a long time.
MacMillan Cancer Relief

Very suitable for years 7 & 8 and perhaps 5/6 would enjoy the “joining in” parts more, the enthusiasm was excellent both from David and the students, the MIND/RHYME competition was excellent. The presentation was subtle and clever in getting information across moving into a direct and fun approach to getting the message across. MacMillan Cancer Relief

Excellent in all respects, a lot of fun which enabled them to take the message in. Liverpool Heartbeat/Newstart

Very appropriate presentation for the pupils, they participated with interest and enthusiasm, motivation levels were extremely high, an excellent road show. David Graham the presenter is very skilled in this line of work and an excellent motivator. Chesterfield High School

Amazing fun presentation, David captures the imagination of all kids, he really inspired me today and is probably one of the best public speakers I have ever seen. Natural High is a great message and I’ll be singing that song over in my head for ages.
