A very fun and positive way of getting the message across, the teachers thought it was well organised, pitched at the right level and the school staff were not needed for support at all, the students were all really engaged throughout the whole presentation, very enjoyable for all. Waverley School A very polished performance, David was in control all of the time and the girls were kept on task by him, year 7 are now going to follow up with 3 weeks of PSE lessons on promoting a healthy lifestyle. The presentation was just right for years 7 & 8, the handouts were explained and the presentation gave all the students plenty to think about, lots of lessons are classroom based and this was something different and I’m sure the girls enjoyed it. The teachers found the presentation appropriate, entertaining and educational. All of the students seemed to enjoy the show and it will be interesting to follow this up with discussion work. St Paul’s School For Girls Many really good values and moral points raised, ‘Natural High’ is an excellent idea, a very successful presentation, the issue of peer pressure need tackling in a big way, great, the attention of the audience was held well, excellent in all respects. David is a very
enthusiastic presenter, the teachers thought it was excellent and the
pupils were enthusiastic and David got them engaged.
The presentation
was really pitched appropriately for the age group, brilliant, very much
suitable for the target audience, it really got the message across in a
way that the students could understand and not patronising. I
loved the pupil involvement in the slogan writing, the presentation
reminded me of the importance of dealing with children as children, they
loved it, I would definitely recommend the Natural High Schools
presentation to other schools.
The organisation
before the event was excellent, both David and Heather are very
approachable, the presentation was suitable for both 7 & 8. The teachers
thought the presentation was very good, loud and good to wake them up,
the students attentiveness was very good.
An excellent
presentation in all respects, the teachers were very positive and the
year 7 students enjoyed it and took the messages on board. Very clear and lively presentation and carried on the standards of behaviour we expect in school throughout the presentation, the focus on behaviour, listening skills and team work were excellent and also tidying up at the end. It was good how the pupils were shown a Natural High and how to come down from it at the end, the emphasis on the card and phone numbers was very good, the teachers thought it was engaging, energetic, clear, fun and appropriate. The students were an attentive and enthusiastic audience. Dame Elizabeth Cadbury Technology College
David Graham’s
energy levels engaged the pupils, impressive first thing on a Wednesday
morning, I believe that the presentation clearly looked at personal
health issues with particular focus on drugs. The pupils although a
little surprised to begin with were quickly engaged and visibly
interested in what was being said/done, from what could be seen and
overheard, during the ‘caption’ section the key messages of the
presentation were getting through to the pupils. I thought the use of
music and interactive talks were particularly effective, the pupils did
not simply have someone talking at them, the message clearly
developed our Healthy Schools Programme. The teachers thought it was a
really effective way of communicating an important message – the focus
was clearly on the positive qualities of pupils enabling them to come up
with their own ideas of the positive values of a Natural High. An excellent presentation in all respects, really good, there was lots of different things for the girls to do, the links between drugs and citizenship is really useful and helps to reinforce our teaching of the topic. The students loved it and got really involved, the teachers thought it was fantastic, lively, enthusiastic but with a good message. Lordswood Girls School The presentation was more interactive than expected, the activities were well structured and the pace was good not allowing any of the girls to become off task. The pupils were all engaged and listened carefully. Lordswood Girls School
